THIS EXCITING CHALLENGE IS WAITING FOR YOU
The OEM Sales Manager, Americas is responsible for the definition & implementation of a regional sales strategy for the region Americas (North & South America) as well as the activity and development of OEM client relationships and OEM Sales staff of DT Swiss, Inc.
As a key interface between DT Swiss Americas and the global organization, you translate global objectives into effective regional sales activities while bringing local market insights and customer needs into the global organization.
· Lead and execute Americas-specific OEM Sales activities within global guidelines
· Lead, coach and develop the OEM Sales team
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key OEM customers (50% travel)
· Drive alignment with global sales objectives and actively contribute to global sales meetings and initiatives
· Represent the Americas market within the global organization and ensure effective two-way communication
· Monitor market and competitor developments and identify growth opportunities
· Ensure disciplined use of CRM and fact-based sales reporting
THESE CHARACTERISTICS DISTINGUISH YOU
· Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or a related field; relevant experience may substitute
· Proven track record in B2B/OEM sales of technical products
· Strong knowledge and network within the North American cycling industry
· Experience leading and developing sales teams
· Strong customer relationship, negotiation and communication skills
· Experience working in an international organization or globally structured environment
· Ability to balance local market needs with global strategies and processes
· Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems; SAP C4C is a plus
· Technical knowledge of cycling products required
· German and/or Spanish is a plus
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to sit or stand for at least 8 hours per day
· Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
